The heavy monsoon rain has caused a havoc in Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh.  The rain has triggered landslides killing six people including children and injuring several others. A large area in the camp has been inundated. The refugee men, women and especially children are in real distress with no food, water and shelter. BAMSAH emergency team has been mobilized to the area to provide emergency relief and assistance to these affected people. Let me tell you a story of Rahmat Ullah, a Hafiz of Quran, & religious  scholar (Mawlana) who had been working for BASMAH in Rohingya camp from  the very beginning since 2018. In the Corona pandemic, he had played a  key role to serve the Rohingya refugees . He passed away due to Corona  Virus on 26^th June, 2020. ​

This young Alem dedicated his service making sure the Rohingya Refugee Camp
was conducted smoothly. Rahmat Ullah, who was the only breadwinner of
the family, left his wife with two young daughters and two sons who are
in great distress now both financially and mentally.

Just  like Rahmat Ullah, there are many front-line dedicated souls of BASAMH
working day and night to deliver necessary relief and service to the  Rohingya refugees & Corona affected community. As a humanitarian  appeal, we would like to help those front-line workers who are affected
in Corona Virus. As their service is what makes all our campaigns reach

The medical camp provides primary care, emergency care, distributing medicines, offering health advice, and so much more.  Every week more than 700 patients are attended by doctors at the medical camps. Other projects we have implemented to aid refugees include the distribution of blankets, food, mosquito nets, cooking pots, and other aid. We have also installed many tube-well pumps to provide clean and uncontaminated water to refugees within the camp.
