Tell the Supreme Court: Racism and Islamophobia Will NOT Make America Great

1. The Muslim and refugee ban head to the Supreme Court on October 10, 2017. Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Asian Law Caucus (AAAJ-ALC), and the Council on American-Islamic Relations-San Francisco Bay Area (CAIR-SFBA), in partnership with MPower Change and other Muslim, Arab, South Asian (MASA) organizations and allies are leading a national campaign to mobilize opposition to the bans, lift up Muslim and refugee voices, and stand together with our allies and brothers and sisters of color to demonstrate our collective power to resist the harmful policies coming out of the White House.

2. Here's our plan: 

• Litigate, coordinate, and demonstrate to tell the Supreme Court that it must defeat the Muslim and refugee ban
• Empower directly affected communities by centering the experiences and voices of MASA community members and leaders - don't let the Supreme Court ban refugees, grandfathers, neighbors, and friends
• Create space and opportunities for allies to show their support for MASA communities by condemning the ban and the continued targeting of Muslims and MASA community members

3. But we can't do it without your help. This campaign needs YOU - your voice, your participation, and your contribution - to succeed. 

Show the Supreme Court and the country that Muslims and refugees will ALWAYS be treated with fairness, dignity, and respect

Americans all across the country showed up to airports en masse to protest the first version of the Muslim and refugee ban in January 2017, but we can't let up now - we must be more united and more engaged than ever.  This is not a Muslim fight or a refugee fight - this is a collective, fight for the freedom of religion, and against hate and Islamophobia. THIS IS OUR COLLECTIVE FIGHT. Show America and the world that LOVE TRUMPS HATE.

Your impact

By donating to the campaign, your money will go towards:

• Arguing the case at the Supreme Court
• A public communications strategy that will lift up voices of those directly and indirectly impacted by the bans 
• Funding awareness events and other mobilization activities
• Funding the National Day of Action on October 10th to show solidarity on the day that the Supreme Court hears oral arguments in the cases
