Our whole approach to film making is based upon an Islamic ethos which shapes our production process and the stories we tell our audiences.

Each of our films employs the council of Muslim scholars who are well equipped in Islamic law and help us to navigate any difficult or grey areas.

We stay away from instrument-based music, nudity, profanity, grotesque violence and anything else that does not correspond with the authentic teachings of Islam. 

Why tell Muslim stories?

Too often Muslims are demonized in television and movies, as the evil terrorist man or helpless oppressed women, and we want to challenge and re-write those narratives by telling stories that matter to us.

We see media and creative arts as a unique and new field for dawah where we can reach audiences creatively in heartfelt ways never experienced before. 

Professional Products without professional costs

One of our corner stone beliefs is that you don’t need to spend millions of dollars to create quality content. Our films use only the most up to date professional equipment while employing industry standard staff but without major corporate overhead costs.

We are not a profit driven production company which allows us to only take on the projects we are passionate about, allowing us to donate a lot of our own time in the process.

Long Term Strategy

We are on the cutting edge of helping to shape and create a Muslim film industry in the English language, which hopefully will give rise to future Muslims filmmakers who will employ the same standards we have initiated. 

Currently our focus is on marketing our films through independent theatrical releases, which we offer at minimal costs to communities around the world, with future aspirations of a dedicated streaming services to show our films online.

For every person who learns, benefits and shares that knowledge with others they will also reap in the reward as the Prophet (SAW) said: “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a similar reward.” (Sahih Muslim 1893)

These films are almost always coupled with lectures and/or workshops around the relevant themes and discussions.
