Creating economic opportunities for refugee and low-income women artists. Help us bring tatreez embroidery to stores across North America.

Working with the most marginalized members of Palestinian society: refugee and low-income women.

In 2015, unemployment rates for young women in the West Bank were as high as 63%. We have a long waiting list of tatreez artists from the region who are eager to make a career with their embroidery skills. Tatreez embroidery is such an important symbol of Palestinian cultural heritage. We created Darzah to help Palestinian refugee artists make high quality products that are fashion-forward, ethically made, and inspire conversations about tatreez.

Donate to our campaign to preorder our NEW handcrafted products from Palestine. Your donation will help us create jobs for refugee and low-income artists in the West Bank, and help us grow the Darzah brand so that we can create lasting economic opportunities for these artisans for years to come.

Certified member of Fair Trade Federation

In addition to using the highest quality fabrics and leathers available in the West Bank, we are committed to paying our artisans a living wage. Each product is carefully handcrafted and supports economic development in the West Bank.

We see a huge opportunity for Palestinian tatreez embroidery to thrive in the fashion and home decor categories. We need your support to train and hire more women, and to market our ethical brand in North America.

Our dream is get to our products into stores like Nordstrom and Pottery Barn

We want to bring Palestinian tatreez embroidery into mainstream fashion in North America.

Each Darzah product is a conversation piece, designed to celebrate the art of tatreez and women's empowerment in Palestine.

We need to create opportunities for refugee tatreez artists to develop their embroidery and design skills so that tatreez artists throughout the West Bank can find jobs. Each motif has significance in Palestinian culture, and it's so important to create demand for hand-embroidered products so that they can be known and create jobs for women artists!

Have a look at these handmade, tatreez embroidered beauties:

Tatreez embroidered flats $210 (with leather soles)

Tatreez embroidered high heels $255 (with leather soles)

Donate to create jobs in Palestine & help us grow Darzah.

As a nonprofit, building a brand is a lot hard work, and it requires resources. We've successfully launched the first collection of handbags, scarves, jewelry and shoes, but we need funding to build inventory and market the products so that we can create a sustainable business!

Your donation will allow us to continue training and employing refugee women artists in the West Bank to make the beautiful Darzah products, and build the brand so that it can create jobs for refugee women artists for years to come!

Please share our campaign with all your friends and family!

BIG news about Darzah! 3 days left to reach our goal - help us spread the word!

Salaam!

I have some BIG news! Thanks to you, we were able to partner with the Tubas Women's Organization this month to start working with new embroidery artisans in the West Bank! We are now training and employing more refugee and low-income women to do tatreez embroidery for the Darzah collection -- isn't that amazing?!

We have just three days left in our campaign on LaunchGood. Can you help us reach our goal of $10,000 by sharing our story and our fundraiser within your networks? Darzah is a celebration of Palestinian cultural heritage and women's empowerment. Send emails about our work, or post on social media to help us get the word out! With your help, we can reach even more refugee communities in Palestine.

Thank you again for your amazing support!

Warm regards,
