In the holy days of Allah, and from the holiest spots on earth, the hearts of the pilgrims of the House of Allah, the Syrians and others, call upon sincere calls to our people in Syria, they raise praying hands so that Allah may relieve them and stop the hands of the oppressors everywhere….

In those moments, and in conjunction with these prayers, your brothers in Syrian Expatriates Medical Association "SEMA" are working tirelessly towards healing the wounds of the helpless and weary, whose bodies have been exhausted by the brutal war machine, never the less their determination is still hinting at a dawn that has come close….

Today, in North Syria where "SEMA" is based, the number of immigrants from Quneitra and Daraa has reached approximately 13000 immigrant, and it is well known that these numbers are hard to accommodate and cope with, especially that 110000 immigrants have already arrived from the rural Homs and Damascus, and unfortunately most of the immigrants reside in temporary camps within areas that lack health and medical services and medical supplies…..

We continue to provide health services in our centers near the camps, as well as mobile clinics that cover some of these camps, however their needs are still in large demand and the available resources are scarce, also diseases and epidemics are spreading rapidly due to the large number of people….

That is why we still welcome your help so that we may continue to extend our helping hand and stand by the immigrants through our campaigns to relief and treat our people in Syria..

How many people had been raised into higher ranks in these holy days of Allah….

So be the tongues that preach prayers… and the hands that extend to assist…

في خير أيام الله ... ساهم معنا لنحفف معاناة أهلنا المهجرين من درعا

في خير أيام الله، ومن خير بقاع الأرض، تلهج قلوب حجاج بيت الله السوريين وغيرهم بخالص الدعوات لأهلنا في سوريا، يرفعون أكف الضراعة بأن يفرج الله عنهم، ويكف أيدي الظالمين في كل مكان..

في تلك اللحظات، وبالتزامن مع هاتيك الدعوات، ما زال إخوانكم في الرابطة الطبية للمغتربين السوريين "سيما" يعملون على تضميد جراح العاجزين والمتعبين، الذين أجهدت أجسادهم آلة الحرب الغاشمة، ولكن عزائمهم ما زالت تلمح فجرا قد اقترب انبلاجه..

واليوم.. في الشمال السوري حيث يتمركز عمل الرابطة الطبية للمغتربين السوريين، وصل عدد مهجري القنيطرة ودرعا ما يقارب 13000 شخص، ولا يخفى على أحد ما تشكله هذه الأعداد المهجرة من حالة من الإنهاك للوصول إلى الطاقة الاستيعابية، خصوصا أن ما تم استقباله سابقاً يفوق 110 آلاف مهجر من مناطق ريف حمص وريف دمشق، وللأسف فإن أغلب المهجرين يقيمون في مخيمات مؤقتة ضمن مناطق تفتقر للخدمات الصحية والأدوية والمستلزمات الطبية.

ونحن معكم مستمرون في تقديم الخدمات الصحية ضمن مراكزنا المنتشرة بالقرب من المخيمات، بالإضافة للعيادات المتنقلة التي تغطي جزءً من هذه المخيمات، إلا أنّ الحاجة ما زالت كبيرة جداً والإمكانيات ضعيفة، والأمراض والأوبئة تنتشر بسرعة بسبب الأعداد الكبيرة.

لذلك فإننا مستمرون باستقبال عطائكم لنمد يد العون ونقف بجانب أهلنا المهجرين من خلال حملتنا لإغاثة وتطبيب أهلنا في الداخل..

فكم وكم تعاظمت أجور ورفعت أعمال في خير أيام الله..

فكونوا الألسن التي تلهج بالدعاء.. والأيدي التي تمتد بالعطاء..

"درعا.. نلبيكم بالدعاء والدواء.."

Since the beginning of the Southern Syrian Offensive which aims for invading the South province of Syria and bringing it under the control of the Syrian Army, the Syrian Expatriates Medical Association has formed an emergency unit to provide as much as it could to the civilians and medical staff in the area in order to ease their suffer from the air strikes and displacement.

The association has spread several field teams that provide the needs and compute the gathering places of the dicplaced civilians.

The attacks forced the people to  flee their homes and head towards farms and valleys at the borders of the adjacent countries and away from the targeted areas, so they were bitten by snakes and scorpions which took the lives of about twenty people most of them were women, children and elders because of the absence of antibiotics and medical services.

The military forces of the Syrian Army has targeted the hospitals and medical centers by air and rocket strikes which destroyed most of them entirely like the hospitals of Seida, Nawa, Al-Ehsan, Naseeb and Al-Harak in addition to Enkhel Medical Center and Al-Mliha Centre so the medical staffs were forced to transfer the services of some of these centers to other places to try continuing the medical work and provide what they could to the unarmed civilians.

Because of the closure of main roads, the services of the three mobile clinics in the rurals of Daraa and Al-Qnitra have narrowed, those clinics were established and supported by 11 thousand American Dollars in order to equip and run them and transport the medical staff between the displacement places to give the needed medical care and transfer the critical conditions into areas equipped with the minimum requirements.

The association supported Al-Rafeed hospital in Al-Qnitra with five thousand American Dollars in order to buy the needed anesthetic, pain killers and antibiotics.

These military strikes led eventually to an agreement on displacing large numbers of people and medical staff from the South into the North of Syria. That's why the association made an urgent response plan to welcome the displaced by increasing the capacity of its facilities in the North to treat the wounded and take care of the lack of nutrition between children and women. Therefore the emergency unit in North rural Hama - which is presided by the association- sent mobile medical clinics to the critical point where the displaced transferred from the areas of the Syrian Army to the North. These clinics transported the wounded and medical conditions to the adjacent hospitals like Specialized Hospital of Rural Edlib and the Hospital of "Al-Shaheed Waseem Hseno".

The association's office in the North prepared about 25 shelters to host the displaced medical staff with an amount of 10 thousand American Dollars including salaries of two additional months for thise who served in the association's facilities in the South. Also a regular counting of these staffs was carried out in addition to suggestions on suitable working positions in the centers presided by the association or those under construction.

And because SEMA believes in the generosity of its international providers, we suggest some centers in the North that needs support in order to serve larger numbers of needy displaced people and provide work opportunities for qualified medical staffs, like:

1- Ein Al-Beida surgical Hospital

2- Al-Zahrawi Hospital for primary health care

3- Waseem Hseno Clinics

These facilities need approximately 40 thousand Dollars in order to achieve the aims mentioned above.

منذ انطلاق الحملة العسكرية على المنطقة الجنوبية من سوريا مؤخراً بهدف اجتياحها وفرض سيطرة النظام السوري عليها قامت الرابطة الطبية للمغتربين السوريين بتشكيل غرفة طوارئ للعمل على تقديم ما يمكن للمدنيين والكوادر الطبية في المنطقة بهدف تخفيف معاناتهم جراء القصف والنزوح.

عملت الرابطة على تسيير فرق ميدانية للوقوف على الاحتياجات وإحصاء أماكن نزوح المدنيين وتجمعاتهم.

لقد أدى الاستهداف المباشر لنزوح الأهالي باتجاه الأودية والأراضي الزراعية على الحدود مع دول الجوار والأماكن النائية البعيدة عن الاستهداف فتعرضوا للدغات العقارب والأفاعي ومات ما يقرب من عشرين شخصاً جلهم من النساء والأطفال وكبار السن لعدم توفر المصول المضادة لهذه اللسعات ولبعدهم عن أماكن تقديم الخدمات الصحية.

لقد قامت القوات العسكرية للنظام السوري باستهداف المشافي والمراكز الصحية بالطيران والقذائف المدفعية مما أدى لخروج معظمها عن الخدمة كمشافي صيدا ونوى والإحسان ونصيب والحراك بالإضافة لمركز إنخل للرعاية الصحية وكذلك مركز المليحة مما اضطر الكوادر الطبية لنقل عمل بعض هذه المراكز لأماكن أخرى لمحاولة استمرار العمل الطبي وتقديم ما يمكن من الخدمات للمدنيين العزل.

بانقطاع الطرق الرئيسية للمواصلات تضاءلت خدمة الفرق الجوالة والعيادات المتنقلة الثلاث في ريفي درعا والقنيطرة والتي تم تشكيلها وإمدادها بمبلغ 11 ألف دولار أمريكي لاستكمال محتوياتها وتشغيلها ودعم كادرها الطبي للتنقل ما بين أماكن النزوح وتقديم العون الطبي ومحاولة نقل الحالات الحرجة لأماكن مجهزة بالحد الأدنى لما يلزم.

قامت الرابطة بتقديم مبلغ خمسة آلاف دولار أمريكي لمشفى الرفيد في القنيطرة لشراء أدوية التخدير والأدوية المسكنة والمضادات الحيوية اللازمة

لقد أدت هذه العمليات العسكرية في نهاية الأمر للاتفاق على خروج عدد كبير من الأهالي والكوادر الطبية من المنطقة الجنوبية باتجاه شمال سوريا فقامت الرابطة بخطة استجابة عاجلة لاستقبال المهجرين حيث تم رفع جاهزية المنشآت التي تشرف عليها الرابطة في الشمال السوري لاستقبال المهجرين وتقديم الدعم الطبي للمصابين منهم والتعامل مع حالات نقص التغذية بين الأطفال والنساء الواصلين للمنطقة الشمالية حيث عملت المنظومة الإسعافية في ريف حماة الشمالي التي تشرف عليها الرابطة إشرافا مباشراً على تحريك عيادة طبية متنقلة للنقطة صفر التي عبر منها النازحون مناطق سيطرة النظام للمنطقة الشمالية فقامت بإخلاء المصابين والجرحى والحالات الطبية للمشافي المجاورة كمشفى ريف إدلب التخصصي ومشفى الشهيد وسيم حسينو.

عمل مكتب الرابطة في الشمال على تجهيز حوالي 25 مسكناً لإيواء الكوادر الطبية النازحة بمبلغ 10 آلاف دولار أمريكي يضم رواتب لمدة شهرين إضافيين للكوادر التي خدمت في منشآت الرابطة في الجنوب السوري كما قامت بإحصاء دوري لهذه الكوادر واقتراح أماكن عمل لها في مراكز تشرف عليها الرابطة أو قيد الإنشاء.

للعلاقة الطيبة بين الرابطة الطبية للمغتربين السوريين ومانحيها الدوليين فقد تم اقتراح توجيه دعم لبعض المراكز في الشمال لتستوعب خدمة الأعداد الجديدة من المهجرين المحتاجين للخدمة الطبية مع احتمال توفير فرص عمل لاستيعاب الكوادر الطبية ذات الخبرة الجيدة فيها ومن هذه المنشآت:

1. مشفى عين البيضة الجراحي
2. مشفى الزهراوي للرعاية الصحية الأولية
3. عيادات وسيم حسينو.

تحتاج هذه المنشآت لمبلغ حوالي 40 ألف دولار لتحقيق الغايات المذكورة أعلاه.
