Please Contribute to our Annual Turkey Drive
Each year the Crescent Peace Society partners with Project Neighborly Needs to raise money to distribute turkey dinners to families in need. This year we hope to continue the tradition of distributing 500 turkeys to 500 needy families.  All remaining funds will be used to buy warm clothing to distribute to families in need.


Continue the Tradition
The Annual Turkey Drive has become a defining campaign for the Crescent Peace Society as we help organize the resources of our community to contribute those who do not have as much as you and I. Your donations go toward ensuring a family is able to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday and keep warm during this cold winter.



Warm Clothing Donations Also Accepted
In addition to purchasing turkeys and warm clothing, Project Neighborly Needs accepts donations of clothing for families in need. This is an excellent way to take gently used items you don't need and make sure they are put to good use for those who need them. If you have such items contact us at crescentpeacesociety@gmail.com to arrange for the items to be dropped off with us or picked up.  

How You Can Help
A donation of $25 will pay for a turkey dinner for one family. The campaign will be accepting donations through November 15, 2018. If you would like to help with distribution of the turkeys please contact us. Distribution will take place on November 17, 2018  at 10 a.m. at at Emmanuel's Community Center. 3510 Prospect Ave. Kansas City, MO 641328.
