After 2 years of searching, Alhamdullilah, we are IN CONTRACT for a 2.7 acre property in Clermont! For $200,000, this property is already zoned for a house of worship. The seller has agreed to allow us to put a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $20,000 to hold the property until January! This property is in a prime location, near Winter Garden and Ocoee and close to exit 272 and soon exit 279 off the Florida Turnpike.
Aa'ishah (RA) reported that a man said to the Prophet (SAW): "My mother died suddenly and she did not leave a will, but I think that if she could have spoken she would have given charity. Alhamdulilah! we are in the blessed month of Ramadan where our deeds are multiplied. Please take this time to donate generously to our Masjid Building Project. Charity does not, in any way, decrease the wealth. This is great way to invest in your future.
The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), said: “Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” Also many of us have had loved ones who have passed away, this a great way to provide them with Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity). On May 2, 2020, we poured the foundation for the future structure. Our next phase is for the structural steel. This Ramadan, we are raising funds for the main part of the building’s steel beams, purlings, roof, walls and insulation.
