What We're Doing

This month, Ryerson's Orphan Sponsorship Program, affiliated by Ryerson's Muslim Student Association, is on a mission to raise funds to help provide children with the basic necessities in life. Join the movement and #BeTheChange this month.

The month of Ramadan is a month for Muslims around the world who come together to fast and challenge themselves to be as generous as they can be. With this campaign, we hope to raise money for orphans of different backgrounds, all across the world. Join us in this month long campaign by sharing/donating and #BeTheChange!

Why it Matters 

Like any other time of the year, this month, there will be children across the world hoping to have a roof over their heads, food on their plate, and an education. With just $36, you could sponsor an orphan to have all of that for an entire month.

The Project

Ryerson's Orphan Sponsorship Program, spearheaded by Ryerson's Muslim Student Association, is a campus-wide initiative run by passionate students who focuses on fundraising to help improve, support, and enrich the lives of children worldwide. OSP is partnering with SOS Children's Villages to help raise awareness and funding for this humanitarian cause.
