WE DID IT TOGETHER!

Thank you, to all of you for your generosity and help from your hearts. You not only helped reach our goal but also were a part of helping bring the muslim community  together as one with your contribution, volunteers sorting through loads and loads of donations that were being dropped off by the community to people boxing and loading the container to  the brim to ensure no inch of space was wasted.  

The amount of physical donations received was far beyond the expectations we had, at some points cars were lined up (going out into the street) just to drop off donations for our brothers and sisters in the Rohingya Refugee camps.   

To illustrate the beauty of the donation drive and how everyone came together and gave with love out for the cause - there is so many donations that still need to be sorted through that we could not fit it in the first container that there is a 2nd container being commissioned just to fit the remaining donations which is potentially already covered by onsite donations made this weekend during the drive (Approx. $3k 0 in addition to our LaunchGood campaign)  <3

Below is  what it looked before the official start time of the drive.  This whole area is now filled up to orange wire. 

Jazakallah Khairun for your involvement in this cause,   One day we will all forget about this and our memory will fade, but Allah will never forget and will not leave anyone unrewarded for even the smallest charity in our eyes of Duah for our Brothers and Sisters in  the Rohingya Refugee camps.  Do not dismiss even the smallest effort, as Allah is all rewarding and merciful.  May he reward everyone involved infinite times over and continue putting baraka in everything you do. May Allah accept from us all and provide the Rohingya Refugees with ease, patience, and Jannah, Ameen  

Next steps:  This container will be picked up Today (11/13) and taken to the ports to be boarded on the boats and taken to the Rohingya Refugee camps in Bangladesh.  Helping Hands Relief will pick up the container and transport to the Refugee camps for distribution.  We also will be working with Helping Hands to finalize the details of building the bathrooms in the camps as well as the items to be purchased locally for food, medicine, hygiene products etc...
