The project is important for displaced households and households without breadwinner due to the deterioration of the economic situation of the majority of the Syrians. Furthermore, it aims at providing the high-protein meat to reflect positively on the health of those households as well as to revive a religious rite so as to meet the needs of displaced people and refugees.

The United Nations statistics show that some 13.1 million Syrians are in need of aid, of which some 5.6 million are in urgent need of aid due to the poor humanitarian situation. The ability of people to cope with difficult conditions is virtually non-existent, in addition to the difficulty of securing basic goods and services in light of the incidence of poverty in Syria for about 69%.
