In this day and age, there is a lack of facilitation for youth who are disengaged or of a different religion or race. I plan on bringing the world together by becoming the very first Muslim Ballerina so that I can inspire so many other people to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams. My dream is to train in a Full-Time Ballet School catered to aspiring young girls who want to train 30-45 hours a week so they can become a professional ballerina.  I want to encourage everyone to join together no matter what faith, race or colour. To bring harmony and a world of acceptance for future generations. YOU can help me achieve this dream!

Opening a Diverse Performing Arts Academy

I converted to the religion of Islam in 2010 and it brought so many positive aspects in my life, but I stopped performing because we thought there would be no way of myself becoming a professional ballerina as there were no facilitations or services targeted at Muslim girls. However, so many inspiring changes are happening to the world. Like one of the first female African-American ballerinas- Michaela De Prince and Misty Copeland, the first Hijabi Emirati lifter Amna Al Haddad and the first Hijabi news anchor on American television Noor Tagouri - that have motivated me to pursue my passion against the odds of the world. Through your investment in me, I will be able to receive my qualifications and diplomas so that I may open a performing arts school that caters to children and teenagers of different religions, races or backgrounds. This school will have special programs for specific religions, support groups for our youth and people who are from disconnected communities. I will provide for our future generations a chance to express and heal themselves and others through the magnificent art of performing and creativity.

I am asking for $10,000 for all education and utilities needed for my chosen career path to inspire the world. If 335 people gave only $30 we would have raised over $10 000 already! Please SHARE this post!

My Achievements

I have here a small number of my experiences and talents over the years listed here to further your thought of donating to my campaign.

• 2004-2010 Performing dance routines on stage at the Riverside Theatre since I was two years old.

• 2008- Playing the lead role in a film called ‘Mr Rabbit’. I played the character ‘Flora’ who was bullied often and who found comfort in her imaginary character Mr Rabbit.

• 2010- Performed at ‘The Sounds of Light’ concert with Zain Bhikhas Band at eight years old.

• 2012- 1st place in the ‘Muslim Talent Competition’ 

• 2013-1st place in the international writing competition ‘Sydney Youth Writing Competition’ with over 3000 entries! My story was published in the book ‘Fly Light Creek’

• 2013-2014 Performed at 'World Hijab Day'

• 2015-1st place as ‘Most Inspirational Young Star’ in the ‘Youth Talent Smash’

• 2015- Finalist in the TV Channels ABC3 RAWR competition.
