Human Development Foundation (HDF) is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in the United States. HDF's mission is to facilitate a non-political movement for positive social change and community empowerment through mass literacy, enhanced quality of education, universal primary healthcare and grassroots economic development. Our main objective is to give the power back to the people of Pakistan.

HDF Campaign

The Human Development Foundation was launched by a group of visionary Pakistani Americans in 1997 as a gift to Pakistan on the 50th anniversary of its Independence. This group of transformational leaders have deep roots in Pakistan and are passionate about human development and poverty eradication. Nearly twenty years later, their quest for positive social change remains at the forefront, and HDF works tirelessly to relieve human suffering. From this small beginning, HDF has grown to a staff of nearly 700 providing programming in all four provinces of Pakistan. Thanks to you, we reach over 1.5 million with holistic programming that helps create lasting change. 


    What have we done:
    ●      Infant and child mortality rates have fallen to below half of their pre-program levels
    ●      the maternal mortality rate has dropped from 640/10,000 births to 135 in the last 10 years
    ●     poverty is 20% below the national average in our program areas -access to clean water has grown to 96%
    ●      Primary school enrollment is at 85% in comparison to the national average of 57%
    ●      women participation has grown to represent more than half of all VDO leadership

     




      How it Works: 

      STEP 1 - Submit Campaign for Review: Participating individuals or organizations need to create a campaign on LaunchGood.com/HDF and submit for review. When creating the campaign, they should make sure to Human Development Foundation as a community page to their campaign.

       

      STEP 2 - LaunchGood Review:  In 24-48 hours, the LaunchGood team will assign a project coach to provide feedback and discuss best practices before launching.

       

      STEP 3 - Project Goes Live! Start crowdfunding! LaunchGood will provide crowdfunding coaching support throughout the fundraising process.

       

      STEP 4 - Campaign Ends: LaunchGood will transfer the funds to the Human Development Foundation team.
