Since 2015, Emaan Catalyst Community in partnership with Emaan Foundation Cambodia, have impacted in excess of: 

- 45,000 community and organization beneficiaries 

- 1000 volunteers in capacity building, training and service learning

- 100 humanitarian, education and social upliftment projects

Major Projects

1. RAMADAN FOOD AID

Poor families in Koh Kong, Kampong Chhnang and Tbong Khmom provinces will benefit from Ramadan Aid activities such as:

- Iftar for 1000 families

- Distribution of 500 food packs

2. EMAAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (EIS) 

EIS operates on a self-sustaining model to provide rural children a unique opportunity to receive quality education. 

It offers Khmer national curriculum as well as Cambridge English and Islamic Studies programmes. 

- Most of the 120 students are from poor and low-income families

- 20 orphans and children from poor and needy families receive full sponsorship including care, accommodation and meal.

- Full enrolment of 300 targeted by 2023.

3. Emaan Education Centre (Madrasah) 

EEC provides quality and free Islamic education to rural children, factory workers and senior folks in Koh Kong province. The Islamic Studies, Arabic and English language curricula benefits:

- 135 students in the full-time program

- 50 students attending weekend/night classes for workers, and

- 20 students attending classes for senior folks

​4. EMAAN HOSTEL

The hostel provides a comprehensive student development program along with free accommodation and use of facilities such as library, study room, training room, multi-media room, prayer room and recreation room.

5. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NEEDY UNDERGRADUATES

Every year, barely 150 students from the estimated population of 700,000 Muslims pursue higher education. This is mainly due high poverty and cost of living in Phnom Penh City, where most universities are located.

6. SOLAR STREET LIGHTING FOR REMOTE COMMUNITY

This unique Ground-up project to install 133 solar street lights on 6 streets was initiated by the Muslim community in Khbop Village, Tbong Khmom Province. The project is 30% self-funded with the following immediate impacts:

- increased economic activities as well as safety and security while travelling after sundown, including trips to masjid.

- monthly electricity savings of $400 compared to conventional solutions.
