Bondh E Shams is bringing safe and clean water to thousands of the most vulnerable individuals across Pakistan, South Sudan and Yemen using the power of smart technology and renewable energy.
As we approach the last 10 blessed days of Ramadan, can you help us continue our critical life saving work? Can you help us work together with communities to uplift them and help them flourish?
With your generous contributions, together we can bring safe and clean water to thousands of vulnerable individuals across Pakistan, Yemen and South Sudan. We do this by creating cost-effective water technologies in support of UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our Our innovative and flagship solution, is called the ‘OASIS Box’, a transportable, solar-powered water pump filtration unit that removes 99.99% of water-borne contamination. The OASIS Box can provide upto 10,000 litres of safe and clean water a day (for over 20 years) to thousands of the most desperate individuals in the communities where we work.
**At $10,000 per OASIS Box - each box serves a community of 5000 people with safe and clean water for over 20 years! We aim to impact 10 communities - that's 50,000 individuals at $100,000.**
Why? In 2020, over 2 billion people remain without safe access to safe and clean water. Devastatingly, Over 3.4 million people die from water-borne disease every year, most of which are children. Water collection journeys remain dangerous and arduous for women and young girls who travel for hours each day to collect water. Clean water is a fundamental human right and can save and change the lives of individuals and help entire communities flourish socially and economically!
