175 Million People in Need for Clean Water!

Can you imagine not having access to clean water for drinking and washing for yourself and your children? Access to abundant clean water is one of the greatest blessings we are given.  Yet in Pakistan, over 175 million people do not have access to safe drinking water according to a report by PRI, due to poor sanitation, pollution, and drought. Therefore, there is an urgent need for water pumps, especially in village schools, to provide clean drinking water to students from underground wells.


Our Impact - 10 Pumps Helping almost 10,000 People

HOME International has been running clean water pump project successfully with the support of our donors since 2015. We have installed 10 water pumps which are benefitting 6,700 school children and 2,700 village people.


Install Water Pumps in 100 schools in Pakistan

With your support and donations, our goal is to install water pumps in 100 schools in Pakistan. 

What We Do and How

We are installing water pumps in schools, villages and rural areas of Pakistan. Our diligent team members survey locations where there is an urgent need for water pumps, especially in schools. Students lives will improve with better health, sanitation, and hygiene, leading to happier and healthier lives. We look for the locations where water pumps are needed for the following reasons:

  1. Water level has dropped and water pumps are non-functional.
  2. Water is salty and needs a deeper drill to get sweet water.
  3. Electric water motors are not working properly due to power shortage and a hand pump is necessary as an alternate.
  4. In villages where there is no electric power available and water hand pumps are needed.
  5. In schools where one water pump is not sufficient for a large number of children.
  6. Road locations where people and animals both can quench their thirst.
  7. Schools where water pumps have been broken and being ignored due to non-sufficient funds.


Only USD 250 for One Water Pump 

It only costs US$250 to install one water pump. Yet each time a person benefits from the water, you get the reward of continued charity.  By donating any amount for this worthy cause, you will share in the reward. 

We are planning to install 100 water pumps for the cost of $25,000. You can donate on behalf of yourself or for your parents and loved ones. We will start working on the water pump as soon as we receive your donation.

Allah SWT says: “… and spend something (in charity) out of the provision which we have bestowed you, before death should come to any of you and he should say, o my Rabb! Why do you not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good.” (Qur’an, 63:10)

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."(Muslim).

2017 Year End Fundraising, Last 2 days

Alhamdulliah, for HOME International project" 100 Water Pumps for School Children in Pakistan" our donors such as yourself have donated for 70 water pumps so far and we still have to collect donations for 30 more to achieve our goal of 100 water pumps, InshaAllah. 10 Water pumps have been installed, 3 in process . Water pump 5 and 6 of 100 has been installed. Oe water pump is ear village Mirali in Qasur district. Water in this area is salty. The water pump was dug much deeper to bring sweet water for drinking. About 3000 villagers are getting the benefit and making dua for you. Another water pump is on the main road, near bus stop and graveyard, much needed for travelers. Jazak Allah Khair

HOME International/HOME Charity Trust has just installed two more water pumps with your support. Third is in Superiors Boy's and Girl's High School in Lakhowal, Lahore

350 Children and 12 staff are benefiting sweet, Clean water and making dua for you.

HOME International, with your kind support, has just finished installing a water pump in Government Girls English Medium School, Aorara  Khurd,  Tehsil Qasur, Pakistan. This is 2nd of 100 water pumps we will be installing In Sha Allah.

School Head Mistress saw our previous sweet water pump installed at a school in Qasur and told us that their current school water pump is pulling salty water too, which is not feasible for drinking and not healthy for school children. She requested to install sweet water pump by drilling deeper level to bring up sweet drinking water. We finished installation on October 21st.

This sweet water pump is benefiting 460 school children and adults. They are happy and making dua for you. Jazak Allah Khair
