Update - Thank you!

Thank you all for your generous donations! We have reached our goal and are able to pay the rent at the orphanage. Because of the outpouring of support, we have decided to continue the campaign in order to purchase cooking/baking materials for the orphans so that they can cook and bake food that they can sell to help stay sustainable and pay their rent monthly. 

Baking to raise funds

During this crowdfunding campaign, we have sold baked goods to help raise funds for the rent. We have been very successful in raising funds this way, but it wasn't enough to catch up on rent - that is where your support came in and we appreciated it. Now we would like to train young ladies in cooking and buy equipment for them to use. This will help them to gain a skill that they can use Insha'Allah for a lifetime. 

Time on the campaign

We will extend the time on the campaign and increase the goal in stages until we reach $20,000 (online and offline donations combined).

Orphans are empowered with many valuable life skills such as entrepreneurship.

The children need our help!

In order to help sustain the orphans of PKPCB from eviction, FoodSavers association has decided to launch this fundraising. We need your help to make sure these orphans have a home to live in moving forward and need urgent help to pay back the rent that they have owed. Please donate and support these orphans for the Sake of Allah. Our story

This venture started by the regular food distributing of FoodSavers young team which is a volunteer group of people from several parts of the world who collect food from traders in order to give to the needy, with an emphasis on providing food for orphans.

After 5 months of operation, our team discovered the PKPCB orphanage.

As a shelter for the orphans, PKPCB takes care of more than 60 girls, all of whom are orphans and children of new Muslims.

As a school, it also provides education to 40 more smaller children. In addition, the orphanage home has children age 3 years old to teenagers.

By meeting the orphanage for the first time we realised that this orphanage doesn't only need food, but it also has no means to pay the monthly rent of RM 6000 since the death of the former caretaker.

At the time of the creation of this campaign, It has been six (6) months since the rent was last paid. Because of this unfortunate situation, the owner of the building decided to evict the orphans if the debt is not paid by the 10th of March.

We are now negotiating with the building owner to find a payment solution.

While we are working on a permanent solution, we are appealing to you for your help in saving the home of these orphans.

Cost breakdown

Currently, the monthly rent = RM 6,000. See the break down below:

• There are 60 orphans living in the orphanage 
• 60 orphans x RM100 = RM 6000
• It costs roughly RM100 per month for each orphan

How can you help?

The following are ways you can help the orphans of PKPCB

• Donate - Provide housing for 1, 2, 3 or more orphans for one month by donating any amount of RM100, RM200, RM300 or more.  
• Share - Share this campaign with EVERYONE in your network. You will not only be helping us raise more money to help this cause, you will also receive more blessings for each person who donates from you sharing. 
• Social Media - Share on social media and ask three people to share a personal message on their page when sharing the campaign.
•  Sponsor - Consider sponsoring an orphan's housing cost each month at the price of RM100. 
• Dua - Dua is the weapon of the believer. Please say a dua for us especially during your night prayers (Tahujjud / Qiyam) when Allah is in the lowest heaven listening to the believers who have come to Him for support. 

Let's maintain a roof for those lovely children. One day they will be our future and will also need to take care of orphans and needy - let's be a good example for them and show compassion and mercy for our brothers and sisters! Together we can do it.
