Our Mission

The Foundation’s mission is a deep and personal one: Keep Mikaeel's name alive by helping as many vulnerable babies, children and their families to have a safer and better quality of life.

Mikaeel Foundation was founded as a result of immeasurable pain and heartache no parent should ever go through. Mikaeel was a baby born sleeping. 

Even though he didn't take a single breath, speak his first word or take his first step - his journey started long before he was conceived and he's already had a positive impact on a number of lives, including babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), women and children in Bangladesh, Ghana, Syria, Palestine and the UK. For a life not lived at all, his story is a remarkable one and in death, he has created a legacy. 

Our goal is simple: To enable people all over the world have a better quality of life and save lives where possible.

Our aim is to keep Mikaeel's legacy alive by helping as many babies and children in third world countries by providing food, clean water, shelter, clothing, medication and healthcare (all zakat eligible).

We also support mothers through pregnancy, miscarriages, stillbirth and child loss.

Mikaeel Foundation also supports many other charities and organisations that share similar values and has been working very closely with Human Relief Foundation, Salaam Charity, Islampur Welfare Group, Queen Charlotte's Hospital, and Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Service) by fundraising for their campaigns and raising awareness around miscarriage, stillbirth, and neonatal deaths when possible.
