What is this about?

This March, Jalan Jalan Junkie (3Js) is organising a Charity Ride to Cambodia to fundraise for the Cambodian orphans and their families. 3Js is a group of bike riders who developed their passion for riding from cycling during their teen days. Now, they want to use their passion to give hope to orphaned families and the needy. Global Ehsan Relief will be working with 3Js to ease the lives of the needy people in Cambodia.

This project has 3 objectives:

1. Build a masjid to benefit the Muslims in the rural area.
2. Provide 100 food aid packs to the needy and orphaned families in Tboung Khmom province.
3. Conduct a soccer clinic with the orphans/children.

The riders will ride from Day 1-4 across four countries. They will begin their journey from Singapore, cross into Malaysia and go through Thailand until they eventually reach Krong Siem Reap in Cambodia. On day 5, they will move off to Kampong Cham province and explore the project site. On day 6-9, they will begin the community work. In total, they will be riding for 2703km throughout the whole journey.

Why should YOU help?

Muslims are a minority in Cambodia, consisting of about 300,000 individuals. Some of them are living in Tboung Khmom, the village that we are going to visit. By donating to this cause, you will make it possible for the riders to journey to Cambodia and participate in the efforts to provide relief to the orphans and needy families. Your funds will go towards purchasing the items necessary for the food aid packs and to the construction of the new mosque.
